The Ukrainian League of Philadelphia is located on the corners of 23rd & Brown Streets in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia. We are within 10 minutes walking distance from the Philadelphia Museum of Art and within 2 minutes walking distance from Philadelphia’s historical site Eastern State Penitentiary.
Directions:
From I-95 North and South
Take exit for 676 west (Vine Street Expressway). This road will dip below street level. Take the second exit - Ben Franklin Parkway/Museum Area. This may also be referred to as 22nd Street. (Be careful because the exit ramp sneaks up on you pretty quickly.) Make a right at the top of the ramp. This is 22nd Street.
Take 22nd Street to Fairmount Avenue. (You will be looking at the Southwest corner of Eastern State Penitentiary.) You need to continue North on 22nd Street.
Note: At Fairmount Avenue, 22nd Street zig-zags just a bit to get around the corner of the prison. This means that at Fairmount you will need to make a left and then a quick right. )
Keep going up 22nd Street until the second Stop Sign. Make a left. (Parrish Street). Go to next Stop Sign and make a left. (23rd Street ) Go up one block and you are there. The entrance to the club is the silver double doors closest to corner. We are downstairs.
From I-76
Take exit for 676 east. (Vine Street Expressway.) Two lanes will exit to left from I-76. Stay in the right exit lane, because you will be getting off of 676 almost immediately. Exit 23rd street exit. (This exit comes up very quickly after getting on 676, so be prepared.) At the end of the exit ramp, there will be a light, this is 22nd Street . Make a left turn. You should now be pointing North on 22nd Street. (It’s a One Way Street, so if you are not pointing North, one of Philadelphia’s fine men in blue will be assisting you shortly.) From here refer to the directions under I-95 starting from the second paragraph. "Take 22nd Street to Fairmount Avenue."...
From NJ
Take the Ben Franklin Bridge to 676 west (Vine Street expressway). Then follow the directions for I-95.
